WBC MuayThai British UK Champions, Defence Policy.

The policy is set out as to offer opportunities for fighters to compete for titles, and thus seeks to prevent titles from being frozen due to inactivity. Therefore, a WBC MuayThai British or National champion should strive to defend their title in a mandatory or voluntary defence within eight months unless a written exception or extension is granted by the WBC MuayThai British UK committee.  WBC MuayThai champions have an obligation to defend their titles within a period of eight months from the date of their championship win or, from the date of their most recent championship defense.

Upon expiration of the eight month time line, the WBC MuayThai UK Committee reserves the right to declare the title vacant.
